🧠 What does a company need for AI to truly help increase sales?

We participated in the webinar “How technology and AI are transforming sales,” organized by Jorge Bullemore alongside Professor Johannes Habel from the Stephen Stagner Sales Excellence Institute at the University of Houston.
The conversation left us with some powerful insights:
🔹 Generative AI (like ChatGPT or Copilot) is useful for creating content, writing emails, or personalizing messages. But predictive AI goes further: it lets you anticipate which clients are about to leave, how much you'll sell next month, or which opportunities to prioritize.
🔹 Without team preparation, predictions are useless. A real case showed that a company knew which clients would leave… but their salespeople didn’t know how to act on that information.
🔹 For AI to truly work, it must be useful, easy to use, and backed by leadership.
Making sales predictions only using past sales or the number of open quotes is a common mistake. The real value lies in also incorporating the real factors that influence B2B purchase decisions: timelines, budgets, economic context, customer priorities, etc.
👉 Integrating these variables with the power of AI can make a big difference in sales forecasting.
